About 'Studiepraktik'

Studiepraktik is a chance to experience what it is like to study at a higher education institution.
Studiepraktik consists of a two to three days programme at a higher education institution offering you a comprehensive insight into what it would be like to be a student there. The programme typically includes an introduction to the study programme, experiencing the teaching methods, talking to current students, and just getting a sense of the study environment.

Please notice: The majority of educations offering Studiepraktik conduct the programme in Danish; however, some programmes are suited for English-speaking participants. Please find a list of English programmes at the bottom of this website.

Studiepraktik takes place every year in week 43 – typically from Wednesday to Friday, but the programme varies from institution to institution.

If you are in your final year of upper secondary education, or if you have already completed your upper secondary education, you are eligible for participating in Studiepraktik.

You can also participate in Studiepraktik if you have a vocational background.
